In addition to having sufficient permissions when connecting, to access all the Instagram functions available in Bunker DB Analytics, Meta requires that your account be converted to Business and connected to a Facebook fan page.

Make sure you have everything ready to connect your Instagram account:

  1. Go to your profile and tap ☰ in the top right corner.

  2. Tap ⚙ Settings & privacy, then Account type & tools.

  3. Tap Switch to professional account.

  4. Choose the category that best describes your company and select Business.

  5. And that's it. You already have an Instagram business account. Now, follow the tips below to complete your profile.

Make sure that your Instagram account is correctly linked to your brand's fanpage in four simple steps:

  1. Click on "All tools."

  2. Select Page Settings.

  3. Go to “Linked Accounts”.

It should look like this:

  2. Click on See all profiles and select the page.

  3. Click on the page name in the left menu.

  4. Click Manage under the cover and select Page access.

  5. Click on the person's name to see their role.

You should see it like this:

You may see a warning like this when trying to connect:

To solve it, follow these steps:

  1. Start the process of connecting your Instagram account

  2. In the "Connect your account to Bunker DB" step select "Edit settings".

  3. Select the option "Give access to current pages only."

  4. From the list, select all your pages except the page or pages that have violations.

  5. Continue with the authentication process.
