In a digital world, the way we manage the comments we receive on each channel or social network is critical to maintaining a good online reputation. In this article, we will show you how to automatically tag comments received on your posts and ads so you can visualize and track them much more efficiently with Bunker DB.

The auto-tagging of comments in the Sentiment module allows you to automatically tag comments in your networks based on rules set by you. Do it by following these steps:

  1. Go to your Sentiment module and click on the «Comments Auto-Tag» button.

  2. Click the «Add Rule» button to create a new comment tagging rule.

  3. Set a name for your rule in the «Name of your condition» field.

  4. Set the parameters for automatic labeling in the «Condition» field.

    1. The rule can be applied to comments and be inclusive (Contains) or exclusive (Does not contain).

    2. The rule can be applied to users (Is / Is not).

  5. Choose the label you will use for the applied conditions. If the tag you are going to use didn´t exist previously, you can create it by clicking on the «Manage tags» icon.

  6. Click «Save» to finish.

Have in mind that if you create more than one rule, they will act in combination. That means: the comment will be tagged only if both rules are met at the same time.

If you select an already created rule, you will be able to retroactively tag comments that meet the conditions of the configured rule. To do this click on «Apply Selected Rules to All Comments».

This is how your comments will look in the Sentiment module once you have applied the automatic tagging rules:
